Having just taken five and a half hours to get back from Middlesbrough (five inches of snow overnight)I offer my condolences. The journey normally takes about three and a half.

Three and a half hours to do what is normally a fifty minute journey - and it wasn't snowing! There was less than an inch of snow! But the incompetent bastards in Berkshire didn't have any gritters or ploughs out on the A4 (that I saw an evidence for).
On the back road I live I have seen two gritters in the past half an hour!
