Col Tim Collins, the Army officer who won worldwide renown for a rousing speech on the eve of the Iraq war, has won undisclosed libel damages against two tabloid newspapers which accused him of war crimes.

Its very heartening when one of the good guys wins. The papers were so unpatriotic during the recent war, and their correspondents working to their own warped agendas. Long live Col Collins and the crew of the Arc Royal.

IT's a sad day when a man of the apparent potential greatness of Col. Collins is lost.
Will he go to the U.S.?
