Happy St George's Day

For Mr Free Market

" I see you Stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the Start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit; and, upon this charge
Cry "God for Harry! England and Saint George!"

Shakespeare, Henry V (1599) Act 3, Sc. 1, L. 31

Ah, a picture that fills my heart with joy

This seems to be a popular quote this morning: Brain Blessed gave a rousing rendition of it on the Xfm Breakfast Show, twice! : )

To Ken Livingstone, Mayor of England's capital city, elected by the citizens of that city, champion of every enemy of England, may St George slay your dragon. May the English awake. May the citizens of London awake.

I'd like to see that flag being burned in every town centre in England!

We had a 300% increase on the number of people signing our petition on 23 April 2008, compared with 2007 (www.stgeorgesholiday.com). There is a growing hunger for a national day of celebration on St Georges Day.

Happy Saint Georges Day to English people everywhere!, your country has more to be proud of than every other nation in EUrope combined! - no need to fabricate something like ginger haired midgets wearing plastic green hats!.

St Georges Day should be a national holiday, but i cant see England's Scottish Government gracing the English that.
