So they brought the Rabbit huh! - Well it was an Ancestor of The Englishman who introduced the Rabbit to Australia - won a Medal and Cash prize in gratitude for doing so - funny the last Oz farmer I mentioned this to didn't seem as grateful....

Irrigation.
XERXES:
Medicine.
COMMANDOS:

REG:

And it's safe to walk in the streets at night now, Reg.

All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

Brought peace.
REG:

Remember the baked beans a few months back. Now they're fiddling with our breakfast serials. And who are these campaigners who are so concerned for our welfare? how did romans bring us peace if anything they gave us our country and place names eg sussex is from the south saxons who attacked the couyntry england in the area where sussex now is which was then part of rome

thank you very much for putting this website on the internet because it helped me get started on my homework, but i would of liked a bit more information if possible. I will recommend this sight to my freinds to help them with there history homework. It's quite good fun reading it and makes history homework a bit more exciting. I'm really glad i found this sight cause i am so bored of homework. Excellent site keep it up and always update it you get more people on it.

Hay they gave us the calendar,double glazing for sure laws,language concrete they used powdered rat skulls for toothpaste YUCK!!! the roman numerals I dont like using those and viaducts,toilet paper surprisingly, medicine and about every 10 years our census, soap and slaves and same as the other guy this website gave me a boost with my homework.
