BBC NEWS | UK | Hunting survives as ban bent and broken

As a survey for BBC News reveals that more people are taking part in various forms of fox-hunting than a year ago - before February's ban - rural affairs correspondent Tom Heap looks at how the pursuit is managing to survive. ....

On a purely personal note, I have to say that my younger sister went on her first "hound exercise ride" after the ban came into force. Obviously myself, I'd never dream of going on a hunt - but that's because I'm allergic to horses - I have to make do with just shooting things when I go home and visit England. Sigh.
