A hero remembered
I am pleased to see this news:
Ledger-Enquirer | 04/02/2006 | Heroism defined
Statue at Fort Benning memorializing Rick Rescorla helps world know a true hero.
For the full story I recommend - http://www.mudvillegazette.com/archives/000307.html
Men of Cornwall stop your dreaming;
Can't you see their spearpoints gleaming?
See their warriors' pennants streaming
To this battlefield.
Men of Cornwall stand ye steady;
It cannot be ever said ye
for the battle were not ready;
Stand and never yield!
Comments
Good too see.
Mr Rescorla has been a hero of mine since I first encountered his story.
A truly heroic man.

Since I'm about his age, I can truly appreciate what it took a man in his mid 50's to go back in for "one more sweep."
As long as there are men (and women) like him, we have nothing to fear from the hate filled zealots of Islam.
