Could Wikipedia be wrong? I thought the signing of Amiens was 1803 and the breach 1804. Nah, must be my decaying memory.
Editor:- http://www.napoleon-series.org/research/government/diplomatic/c_timeline.html seems to think Wiki is correct and Worstall wrong, though I couldn't have guessed it to five years either way!
