More Big Brother

Telegraph | News | Britain: the most spied on nation in the world

A stark warning that Britain is turning into a Big Brother society, where the lives of millions are routinely monitored and tracked from cradle to grave, is given today by the Government's privacy watchdog.

Old news to us readers of blogs....

It may be old news and a cause of concern to those of us who make an active attempt to keep up with what is happening to civil society but to the vast majority it seems to be a matter of profound indifference. I have tried to get people interested but they don't see the danger and those that can be arsed to comment at all come out with fatuous responses such as "nothing to hide, nothing to fear".
