If you are one of the lucky people who are going to depend on these whirly-gigs then with the wind not blowing or blowing too hard or the colony of red-throated divers being disturbed or any of the other reasons they only run at 25-30% capacity I would get Santa to look for a present here:

When the wind isnt blowing, power will be provide by batteries previously charged when the wind was blowing - or by other means.
Technological advances mean energy efficiency means less energy required.
You're missing out mr English, in the Netherlands, farmers have their own wind turbines and sell power to the national grid

From the map published in the Telegraph is would appear that the northern sector of this wind farm falls within the territorial waters of the Principality of Sealand.
