Home, home on the range...
...
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day..
Marlin 1894C and Springfield 45-70
Where the air is so pure, the zephyrs so free
The breezes so balmy and light
That I would not exchange my home on the range
For all of the cities so bright
Home, home on the range
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day

I am gutted at wasting my day and not attending!

I have one of those Springfields in 45-70 carbine.....even more 'interesting' to shoot. Can't imagine trying it off the back of a cavalry horse though!
