Chelsea Tractor

WEATHER PICTURES (updated): Mud at the Royal Show and floods in Lincs - 04/07/2007 - FarmersWeekly

The weather also led to the closure of the Royal Show a day earlier than usual.

Low profile alloy wheels and £40,000 of off road vehicle can't pull the top off a rice pudding - deep joy for the real as opposed to the Chelsea tractor driver. If it was mine I would have torched it and walked home rather than admit the shame.

Haha! And to think the silly man paid extra for the low-profile tyres and fancy rimmed wheels. My experience has been that the obvious answer to having an offroad vehicle seems to be to own a proper Land Rover and just keep the Range Rover for the wife to pick the children up in and annoy the hell out of anyone else trying to drive within 100 yards of the school.

Low profiles and mag wheels on a four by four of any description are considered the preserve of the tappetts and the more chavesque elements of the Indian community in this here neck of the woods. The best(?) I've seen so far is a Toyota Hilux with shiny rims and tyres so thin you could barely see them from the side. Needless to say, the owner was a bonehead panel beater.

HA HA HA, Silly bastard. I own a Shogun, It does get used off road, It doesnt get stuck and it has proper tyres, Not rubber bands
