BBC NEWS | England | Wiltshire | Driver attacked confronting gang
A man was attacked by a gang of youths after he got out of his car to confront them about throwing missiles.

He was driving along Station Road in Tidworth, Wiltshire, just before midnight on Saturday, when his vehicle was struck by an object.

When he got out to remonstrate with the gang he was assaulted, suffering head and facial injuries.

Sometimes a Peacemaker is the only way to even the odds.

Now, now... if he'd shot one of the little shits, there'd be no end of pissing and moaning about how a windshield isn't worth a life, and the motorist would now be in the slammer instead of in hospital.

I note, en passant, that there's a peculiar absense of "missile-throwing" in places like Texas, where motorists are as likely as not to be armed.

Probably just a coincidence.

Now, now, this isn't the Wild West. You can't go around with a Peacemaker strapped to your hip! A nice Smith & Wesson M&P in .45 would be the 'progressive' choice ;)

Odd that Wiltshire's Finest make a packet from their carefully placed speed cameras in Tidworth yet are unable to use the money on street patrols to deter the stone-throwing scum?
