Hook's Reputation
Battle to restore 'Zulu' hero Henry Hook's reputation - Telegraph
A campaign is underway to restore the reputation of Henry Hook, the soldier portrayed as a drunken shirker in the film Zulu.
And then what will become of his blog -The Final Redoubt if he is revealed to be a clean living god botherer?
Comments
they were portrayed as A Welsh regiment but I was surprised too see on the final redoubt that very few of the VC winners were actually Welsh.

Gadgie... that's because at the time of the conflict the 24th Regiment of Foot was 'English'... the 2nd Warwickshires... and the Welsh contingent was about 14%, about average for a typical 'British' regiment.
EC... I don't know how I'll cope as a reformed character.
