Metric 'martyrs' win fight to save imperial measures - Telegraph
Councils will be banned from taking the so-called "metric martyrs" to court for "essentially minor offences" such as selling goods weighed in pounds and ounces.
Good news if it is true, the bastards will still try and control in any way they can...

This is not being done by the regional government in Westminster. This is being done by our real government in Brussels.

John Denham, the Innovation Secretary has been told to do so by the EU Vice-President and Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry Günter Verheugen, a move that he announced 11th September.
