A few months back, the Paddies had the temerity to tell Brussels to stuff their constitution treaty. Failed. Wrong answer. How predictable was it that they would be forced to sit the exam again.

It was certainly predictable, but the Irish government will have learnt their lessons and won't make any mistakes next time - victory will be much more likely second time round.
