I am not much on hunting (it takes too much time away from everything else!), but I agree, THIS digital hocus-pocus is a bunch of junk! If push comes to blowing some deserving sonofabitch or the other to Hell, I got my family 1883 Remington 12 ga dbl, the Webley...and, my old longbow.

Bows are in the same pickle nowadays, with all of these God-damn compound pulleys which are a crock of shit. Actually, this sort of thing SPOILS your eye by letting you stand around too God-damn much eyeballing things, whereas I can walk out, turn around as I nock, bring her up on the draw, breath down just a hair into the release and slide a cast right spang in the dead middle six or seven times or so out of ten...not that bad I mean for an old guy with an old style weapon who doesn't get out as often as he should to practice, but when you get it it is liking riding a bike, I guess....

Christ...a TRIPLE threat From the southern Minnesota Southern Tier!

OTOH, it is meant for sniper use, with sepcialised sniper weapons, presumably targeting about 800-1700 yards - not 100-600 yards.

But yes, nonetheless a bit much for most field applications.
