I've been out and about today

Started first time, no easy-start, no heater plug! The air conditioning was a bit brisk at times though.

Can't see why you took the old Massey-F. out at all: can't plough the fields; dead hippies/ramblers won't start to smell in the cold, ergo no burial needed; and unless you're supplementing your income by pulling yuppies' Beemers out of ditches...
Never mind.

We had a Massey-Ferguson that was converted into a loader (originally pushed sand around the foundry where my dad worked). Started pretty easily too, as it ran on propane, but of course we lived in Southern California...
Dad named it "Jennifer" after the secretary in the TV show "WKRP in Cincinnati", because it looked impressive, but never really did much.
