Nothing, not a word in this weeks issue that I can see, just some overpaid soccer player on the front cover and a weak pun about willies.
Pathetic.

Pity. I had made up my mind that if the Eye did not take on the story this fortnight, I wouldn't buy it again.
Been reading since the 1960s, when the mag looked as if it was churned out of a Roneo machine. Sad, but there have been other stories they ignored on acount of political correctness, so no real surprise.

I'm not a bit suprised. Private Eye are only interested in their comfort zone. When I drew their attention to the scandal of the fast food industry, much of which is run by illegal Afghani immigrants employing illegal and dangerous gas oven installations, I was told to, (direct quote) 'fuck off'.

The Eye still thinks of itself as a satyrical mag, living outside of the mainstream and producing "edgy" content.
Actually, these days it's just part of the Establishment and merely goes through the motions.

What can you expect when the editor lives in Tunbridge Wells? Private Eye sold out long ago. Big salaries and no law-suits all round. Blogs have taken over the role of the old, real, Private Eye..
