The P.14 is an excellent choice for certain types of vermin disposal, However,may I also recommend for your consideration the Winchester Liberator MkII.
This is how to stand out from the crowd at a driven shoot.

Don't do it. The P14 is awful to handle. Stick with a Lee-Enfield rebarreled for 7.62.
