Dead Sheep - The Art of Wales

A dead sheep swept down a river on a fallen tree has helped to sink Wales’s answer to the Angel of the North.
A £600,000 public art project called Turbulence has been abandoned.
Jim Evans, one of the originators of the idea to bring a work of public art to West Wales, said: “Of course I am deeply disappointed. It is not pleasant to work in a town that says no to everything.”

Don't worry Jim I gather there still is a sheep tied to a lamppost just off Napier Street in Fair Field car park labelled "Leisure Centre".

Did the sheep die a natural death ?

Mr. Evans should be happy. He wanted to see if people would speak up if offered the opportunity "rather than parachuting something in whether they liked it or not" and they did.
