Do a John Galt -- stop working so hard and financing those crims with your tax money, get by on less and top up your income by claiming for whatever you can claim, and use the new found free time to enjoy life, and to organise politically. Join a union and/or the Labour party and undermine them from within.
Read Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. They work for conservatives too!
