No malpractice' by climate unit
BBC News - 'No malpractice' by climate unit
There was no scientific malpractice at the research unit at the centre of the "Climategate" affair, an independent panel has concluded.
The panel said it might be helpful if researchers worked more closely with professional statisticians.
Lord Oxburgh insists the panel did not have a pre-conceived view.

Well, imagine that? I'm stunned; stunned and amazed; stunned, amazed and shocked. In fact you can't imagine how stunned, amazed and shocked I am.

It's pretty clear - as was expected from the start - that all the "enquiries" are simply whitewash jobs.
The bandwagon rolls on; there is too much money at stake (ours, going to them, of course) for any other outcome to be conceivable.
It may be necessary to institute a violent revolution.

Lying sack of horse dung. Lord Oxburgh makes money off the whole swindle. He's a paid director of multiple companies which stand to make considerable money off of a shift from fossil fuels to alternate sources, is a member of- and has ties to- a notorious environmental lobby. Government is interested in climate research that supports large scale government intervention in the economy - Government funds this to the tune of a hundred billion dollars. Lord Fart-brain IS Government and it's time to stick a Guy-Fawkes firecracker up his ass and set him alight.

It is indefensible that Lord Oxburgh failed to recuse himself given his clear conflict of interest. What the hell is the point of having a register of member's interests if not to prevent situations like this? I hope he stubs his toe on something rusty.
