A Sash for Sunday
As all decent men do I celebrate The Twelfth; the Glorious Revolution, and the Hanoverian Settlement as the cornerstones of English freedom, prosperity, and social progress.
But if I wear orange on Sunday will I be mistaken for a football fan?

I generally like your commentary, but, I am an English-born Roman Catholic and must object to your Orange references. James II was the last monarch this country had.
The town I was born and raised in is the most Catholic town in the country in the most Catholic county on the country. We outnumbered you proddy-dogs.
Catholics in this country do face more bigotry and institutionalised prejudice than Muslims.
Unless you've lived through religous bigotry and intolerance between Christians in this benighted country I fail to understand your position.
I used to read your blog 'religiously' I'm afraid I'm deleting you from my favourites. Sad man.
