I haven't got stats from its youth, and Google Analytics doesn't count all the pages but I find it extraordinary, and very humbling, that so many people continue to visit The Castle in its declining years.

Over 44,000 regular readers, but nearly twenty times as many just looked once and never came back. Were they disappointed by the total lack of castles?

I may not post often but you are one of few that I trust to get a 'feel' for my old home.
More power to your tractor and a keening whetstone for your plough.
May your turnips attract small boys to water your fields in times of drought.
