On The Streets of London
A lovely looking bunch outside the US embassy complaining it is all Evil Uncle Sam's fault that Libya isn't free.
I claim five points for spotting the Magic Silver Crutch of Benefit without which seemingly able bodied louts wouldn't be able to live on benefits. A point each for the several subsidised ankle biters and minus points for more headscarfs than the Queen has ever worn at the races...
(I thought I had hit the hippy bonus with the Wiccan pentagram on a red background but it seems it is the Moroccan flag, apologies we don't get much Moroccan here these days, just the hippies.)
If they represent the future of Libya than God help us all.
H/t Mr FM

How many points for spotting that someone is seriously lost and is flying a Dutch flag, OR, which is more likely, SOME prat thinks it is the Egyptian flag?

How many points for pointing out the seriously lost bugger flying a Dutch flag, or FAR more likely, said prat thinks it is the Egyptian flag?

The really sad thing is, if Wicked Uncle Sam did actually engage in some effective regime change in Tripoli (US Marines, tanks, artillery, the band of the US Coast Guard, everything), you can bet the very same morons would be polluting the very same patch of pavement protesting about that instead.

Re: Mr RM
I'm fairly certain that the only time the US Marines were involved there, they administered a sound spanking to the Barbary pirates. Hence the Marines' marching song.
Can't see that happening again with their current C-in-C.

Is that me with the crutch there?

Isn't it funny how these pictures are cropped. When there is a really tiny protest the photographer 'goes in close' to make it look bigger than it really is and when there are thousands they pan out to minimise numbers.
Photographers would argue the opposite. Perhaps it needs an EU Protest Picture taking standard creating. Anyone got Barroso's e-mail address handy?

Yup. It'll be the Americans' fault regardless; damned if they do something, damned if they don't.
My advice for the West: just sit back with a big bowl of popcorn and watch the show. Wait until the dust finally settles before reaching any necessary accommodations with the next generation of hoods, demagogues and generals who'll soon be running these countries.

Wondered when they would start descending on us.

It's more the fact that they represent the future of Britain that bothers me.

Give my best to MR FM. I miss his old style blog greatly.

View, I believe you are correct, but my point still stands. If the USMC decide to add a second verse about Tripoli to the Marine Hymn, those very same phuquewhits would be outjumping up and down to protest the injustice of it all.
