Dave Shouldn't Apologise
David Cameron: Britain caused many of the world's problems - Telegraph
His remarks came on a visit to Pakistan, when he was asked how Britain could help to end the row over Kashmir.
He insisted that it was not his place to intervene in the dispute, saying: “I don’t want to try to insert Britain in some leading role where, as with so many of the world’s problems, we are responsible for the issue in the first place.
Patronising claptrap - they are adults, it is up to them to fix the hand they were dealt many years ago. It's like middle aged whiners complaining if only Mummy and Daddy had treated them better they wouldn't now be in the gutter, or writing for the Guardian, or both.

I couldn't agree more.
I get so angry when our dear leaders apologize for the past sins of our countries. It never occurs to them that there's a common-sense statute of limitations on such things (i.e., the guilt for Nazi Germany rests with the German generation of that day, not with some hapless 18 year-old kid in Hamburg).
In any case, the guilt for the situation in Kasmir rests squarely with the Indians and Pakistanis whose actions caused its partition in 1947-48.

“I don’t want to try to insert Britain in some leading role where, as with so many of the world’s problems, we are responsible for the issue in the first place ...."
But you didn't complete the quote. Cameron went on to add:
"... because I am too busy inserting Britain in some leading role where we are cmpletely blamless for the problems."

the world has problems
and needs people who point fingers at those responsible..
if britain neve existed ,these people would be pointing at (fiilintheblank) as the cause..
