It's not an April Fool. It's BBC / Roger Harribin being fools, and the waste-of-public-money Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. Like 'loss of biodiversity', 'nitrogen (compound) pollution' is being lined up to replace CAGW when that scam finally collapses.
