I was burgled last night, as you know I'm a happy go lucky liberal sort of chap but my blood is up this morning. It was a shame I didn't hear the vermin at work.

The feeling of not being able to punish is pretty awful isn't it? when I lived in Liverpool I caught burglars and car thieves several times....I still feel a warm glow when I remember the resulting mess.
