Total Butler Bollocks

Back in August I ordered a load of fuel from Total Butler - They delivered it to the farm next door. It took a month to get them to deliver a replacement load to me. They are still chasing me for payment for the load I never had, which I am reluctant to pay for.

With the last demand the sent me they also included the details of someone in Cambridgeshire's account activities. Data protection anyone?

Maybe Tommy Breen could start earning his €1,410,000 by sorting it out. I may have to ask him.

But first I had better ask marketing-butler@butlerfuels.co.uk's permission to link to their website...

Do you know if that notice has any legal force at all, or any meaning other than 'I don't want to be bothered by you plebs, go and buy from someone else,' which is, I imagine, how you've interpreted it?

I used Totally-Useless Butler for many years. I started working abroad so put them on a monthly top-up plan on direct debit, one month I missed the payment because of the transfer bank time but a/ didnt know, as I was in China and b/wouldn't have been able to sort it anyway....result..on my return I had an enforced court order to pay the bill plus costs which amounted to four times the original bill...I phoned them up to explain the situation but they still enforced it so I ended up paying £400+ pounds for a couple of hundred litres of top up of oil..and they lost a long term customer...marketing at its best...what a bunch of wankers....

Thanks for the heads-up on Total Butler. I use Emo Oil (was Shell) and have done so for the last decade without any problems (including boiler servicing). I'm in SN8.
