Remember the flame is powered by a butane/propane mix so it is a Class C fire. Only a Dry Powder extinguisher should be used on such fires. The extinguishers can be identified by the French Blue band on them.
Better safe than sorry is our motto here.

Are you suggesting I should be standing by with appropriate counter-measures to hand. The flame will go out of it's own accord if our previous record is anything to go by.
