Spunking Your Taxes On Global Greenery
£2bn of UK aid to help Third World go green - Telegraph
Britain yesterday pledged almost £2 billion in "climate aid" to help finance foreign projects including wind turbines in Africa and greener cattle farming in Colombia.
Each household will contribute £70 to schemes to tackle climate change in developing countries before March 2015, under plans championed by Ed Davey, the Liberal Democrat Energy Secretary.

I'm glad I pay my taxes in Spain. Although we are probably doing the same.

It's like they are deliberately putting the finger up to us to see how far they can push things before there's a revolution or something.
Just when you think it couldn't get any more absurd, annoying, pointless, and wasteful, they come up with something even worse - like this.

Sorry to see your leaders are as clueless as ours. Can't they remember for 1 second at a time that they are borrowing money to do everything they want to do? Don't they know how to apply different standards of priority for things they do not actually have the money to do?
